Nigerian Pastor Beaten Up For ‘Fingering’ Woman During Deliverance

11 Jan

A 32-year old Nigerian pastor, Kehinde Boluwaji, has landed himself in trouble for allegedly dipping his fingers and pouring salt inside a woman’s private part under the false pretence of carrying out deliverance on her.

Boluwaji, who hails from Ondo State, Southwest Nigeria, reportedly lied to the victim, 22-year old Busola Adebayo that she was possessed of a strange spirit that will cause her untimely death if she was not delivered.

He also told Busola that the bad dreams she always had will not allow her to get a husband and when she eventually gets married, she will not get pregnant and have children.

He told her the deliverance will start from her private part to other parts of her body.

Boluwaji then invited and locked her in his one room apartment at 7, Arounmalase street, Ijeshatedo, Lagos for ‘prayer and deliverance’.

According to the victim, “he ordered me to remove my dress and pant and sit on a floor and spread my legs wide open while he was busy muttering and pretending he was praying.

“He brought out a white handkerchief and salt and first ordered me to pour it inside my private part and later joined me in doing so. He started fingering me, pretending that he was praying. He used the handkerchief and cleaned it and took it away.”

On why she did not raise an alarm, Busola said she was overwhelmed by the prophecy he told her.

She was later rescued by the victim’s friend who saw her when she entered the pastor’s room and raised an alarm. This forced the pastor to open the door and by then she was still nude.

The neigthbours descended on the pastor and battered him before the police at Ijeshatedo division rescued and took him to the station.

He was charged to a Magistrate’s Court on a two-count charge of conduct likely to cause the breach of public peace contrary to Sections 166 and 348 of the Criminal Code Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2011.

Part of the charge reads: “That you pastor Kehinde Boluwaji on the same date, time and place did conduct yourself in a manner likely to cause breach of public peace by asking the victim to use salt to wash her private part.”

He pleaded not guilty.

The trial magistrate, D. T. Olatokun granted him bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties in like sum.

He was remanded in prison custody because nobody showed up to perfect his bail.

The matter was adjourned till 11 Febuary, 2012.

Bombshell From El-Rufai’s New Book: “Whoever Wins, I’ll Run Aso Rock From My Farm” – Obasanjo

11 Jan

Just saw this on Leadership…don’t know how credible this piece of news is so I can’t endorse it but it has gone totally viral on many Nigerian news sites. Its about what former  FCT Minister, Mallam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai wrote about former president Olusegun Obasanjo in his soon to be released book. We’ll just have to wait until the book is out to find out. 😉

PLEASE READ:

After Olusegun Obasanjo failed to secure a third term in office, he boasted that 2007 and 2011 would be a “transition period”, as he would run the affairs of the country from his Ota Farm, irrespective of the fact that there would be a sitting president.

This has been revealed in a recently published memoir of an Obasanjo confidant and former minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Malam Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai, entitled, “The Accidental Public Servant”.

The book recounts that though former president Obasanjo had singlehandedly ensured that the late Umaru Musa Yar’Adua succeeded him in 2007, he nevertheless planned to administer the country from his Ota Farm. He described the 2007-2011 period as a transition because all his pointsmen, including the “economic team” would remain in office.

El-Rufai recalls the former president telling him thus: “Well, nothing will change, you know. I will be in Ota but we will be running things. Everything will remain the same, you know. You will remain in the government, the economic team will remain. Nothing will change. Only I will move to Ota and Yar’Adua will be here but we will be running things.”

When el-Rufai informed Obasanjo that he intended taking at least two years’ break from government business, the former president responded: “OK, well I just thought I should call you and explain to you that the next four years is just a transition period. The real change in government will happen in 2011. Not now.”

Obasanjo begged Atiku on his knees
El-Rufai also said in his seminal book, which will be launched at 10:30am on February 7, at the Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja, that the former president begged his deputy on “bended knees,” for his political survival.

In the 627-page book, El-Rufai said on page 151, “The stakes were high enough for Obasanjo to swallow his considerable pride and go to Atiku on bended knees.

“Obasanjo had no problem going down on his knees to beg for what he thought was impossible to obtain any other way.”

This rare and calculated display of meekness came around 2003 when Obasanjo feared he could lose the People’s Democratic Party’s re-nomination bid, if he did not make peace with Atiku.

The book recounts that faced with the possibility of losing the PDP ticket to Atiku, who had rallied all the governors on the platform of the party, the former president paid his deputy an unscheduled visit in 2003.

“The political bricksmanship got so bad that Obasanjo had to visit Atiku’s residence unannounced to plead for Atiku’s support.

Upon arriving at his deputy’s residence, he reportedly knelt before Atiku and begged the vice-president to remain onside, thus guaranteeing the support of the 17 PDP governors. In return, Obasanjo had to agree to retain Atiku as his running mate (he was rumoured at the time to be considering an alternative),” the book revealed.

In his book, el-Rufai also queries the leadership recruitment processes, noting that it is at the root of the nation’s problems, as it sacrifices merit. He said that the choosing of the late Yar’Adua and Dr. Goodluck Jonathan as president and vice-president by Obasanjo was “the final nail in the coffin of any meritocracy or track record of governance in Nigeria.

“President Obasanjo chose Umaru Yar’Adua whose ill-health, among other challenges, was known already constituted a serious impediment to the possibility of any inspired and energetic leadership. The view of many well-informed Nigerians is that Yar’Adua and his deputy, Goodluck Jonathan, emerged for no other discernable reasons than being ‘weak’ governors sympathetic to the ‘Third Term’ project and therefore handpicked as payback.

“The subsequent electoral imposition of Goodluck Jonathan as president in 2011 via military occupation and rigging has been unhelpful in raising leadership quality. Jonathan went into a presidential contest without a campaign manifesto, boasting of no experience, merit and any track record of previous performance other than wearing no shoes to school and his ‘good luck’.”

It has been revealed that Crystal Harris signed an ‘ironclad’ prenuptial agreement before saying ‘I do’ to her new husband, 86-year-old Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner.

A source told US Weekly said that while the 26-year-old blonde beauty will be taken care of, she has not been added to his will.

Instead, his estimated $43 million fortune will be divided among his four children, the University of Southern California and a list of charities.

The pair reconciled in May last year, and Hugh has recently said that he wants to stay with Crystal until he dies.

Hugh also insisted that he doesn’t care about the 60 year difference between them.

She has already changed her name on the social networking site to Crystal Hefner.

Former Nigerian President Obasanjo Accused Of Creating Terrorist Sect Boko Haram

11 Jan

Max Gbanite, a strategic security consultant, claimed that allowing the implementation of Sharia Law in some parts of the north during the Mr Obasanjo regime, led to the development of Islamic sect that are now staging insurgency against the Nigerian government.

The security expert made the allegation on Channels Television’s breakfast programme, Sunrise Daily, where he alleged that “he (Obasanjo) allowed Sharia to take effect because of an alleged unholy alliance between the then Governor of Zamfara state, because they did not want the then National Security Adviser (NSA) to have a role in government, therefore he called a political Sharia.”

The political Sharia, he claimed moved to Borno state, which is now the home ground of the Islamic sect.

He blamed the emergence of Boko Haram on what the administration of Mr Obasanjo failed to do, saying that “Boko Haram is a new phenomenon that wouldn’t have degenerated to the level we have it, if Obasanjo in his eight years in power, did what was fundamentally right in promotion of democracy.”

Max Gbanite

Insisting that he is not President Jonathan’s ‘fighting dog or attack crocodile’, Mr Gbanite decried the former President’s mannerism of going on an international media to lampoon the current Head of State.

According to him, Mr Obasanjo’s statement of stick and carrot approach on Boko Haram indicates that President Jonathan is failing in addressing the nation’s security challenges and this is not right for a former president.

He likened the former president’s attitude to former military head of State, General Muhammadu Buhari, saying that “the simplicity of the elder statesmen is rascality.”

He enjoined them to take a cue from other elder state men, who are as well bothered about the challenges bedeviling the nation but will resort to talking to the President in person.

Mr Gbanite, however called on President Jonathan to invoke the amnesty deal for the Boko Haram insurgents, as a way to quickly and peacefully quell the unrelenting insurgency.

VIDEO: Black Guy Punches Racist “White’ Woman On London Train For Calling Him A “Smelly F****** Nigerian”! – WATCH!!!

11 Jan

This story was first posted on DailyMail Online on January 8, 2013; but it has since been taken down…I’m guessing may be because, it violated some privacy right or viewers are turning it into an ugly racist war.

A white woman in a London underground train claimed that a 19-year-old black teenager who also got on the train, stepped on her feet. An argument immediately erupted between them.

While the woman calls him a smelly, f****** Nigerian, the seemingly calmer teenager first responds by calling her a “white princess.”

The video footage was captured on a mobile phone and posted on YouTube by someone on the train who obviously didn’t want it known that he was filming the whole ‘show’ at the time. So the footage doesn’t capture the part where the woman throws a bottle at him. The next thing we see is the young man rushing to her and punching her repeatedly on the head!

Now, I don’t subscribe to men beating up women…but the reaction from the people on the train shows that the woman probably got what she deserved.

Now, the reactions on YouTube is interesting. Viewers were asked to click ‘Like” if they support the black teenager or ‘Dislike’ if they support the lady. 432 persons clicked on ‘Like’, while ‘196’ people clicked on ‘Dislike’; with 1,779 comments generating into a hot racist debate.

You be the judge.

For the records…that woman is not white. I do not subscribe to violence and I think racism stems from ignorance.
